Taylor Swift - I Can Do It With A Broken Heart (Music Video) FIRST TIME REACTION

The last music video from the TTPD Era! After reading your comments, I think the next album to jump into should be MIDNIGHTS. Then I'll watch the Miss Americana Documentary :)

Taylor Swift - I Can Do It With A Broken Heart (Music Video) FIRST TIME REACTION

Comments

Please can you watch Intro+ Ready for it? And Don’t Blame Me from the Reputation Tour. You will love it

Dandhara 1

I don't know if it was mentioned but the ttpd set got added 3 or 4 weeks after the album was released and Taylor and her team kept it a secret that it would be added to the eras tour set. So as of now no professional footage of it!

Baillie Williams

hahaha I love that! I imagine with that level of fame you have to start thinking of clever ways to be secure

Daniel Juke

I absolutely agree with this train of thought lol. I'll watch the Eras movie when it's time :) I think I have a nice map planned out

Daniel Juke

I cannot believe that went over my head hahaha

Daniel Juke

Lets go! Thank you :)

Daniel Juke

I'm excited too!!! There's A LOT to get into. Time to lock in :)

Daniel Juke

I will when it's time :)

Daniel Juke

I think it will be a fun way to see different sides of her. I might even go Midnights ---> Evermore--->Americana Doc--->Folklore--->Lover THEN Fearless (since her debut & Reputations hasn't been re-released yet. If the debut does get re-released by the time I get here then I'll go from the beginning) ---> Speak Now ---> Red---> 1989---> Reputation. Lol I think that would be fun and probably the best way to give her time to release those other albums. I'll also watch the music videos, live performances that I can from each era as well :)

Daniel Juke

How do I get hired by Ms. Swift? hahaha but seriously that's all amazing!! You know, there's gonna be detractors in all walks of life. She could literally save someone elses life by giving them her own and people would find some way to criticize her for it. It's the uncomfortable truths that we have to deal with. I try my best to give that no attention or energy. That's so awesome how charitable and thoughtful she is. I have a feeling I'm going to like her quite a bit!

Daniel Juke

She went through two break ups during the Eras Tour. Joe Alwyn at the start and then Matty Healy. Even though she dated Matty for a short time, they have known each other for 10 years. He was always that what if situationship! A lot of TTPD is written about Matty and the more we listen we have found that alot of other songs from previous albums have been written about him too!

JoAnn Burrage

She is so charitable too. She gave each truck driver on her tour a $100,000 bonus that was hand delivered by her team with a hand written note from her. She gave bonuses to everybody in her tour that equaled to over $197 million. She gave $100,000 to the family of the woman killed in the chiefs Super Bowl parade shooting, she donated large sums of money to the food bank in each city on her Eras tour, she sent fans money who were struggling during the pandemic, she has donated to fans’ gofundme pages, she has paid of some fans’ student loans, etc. she found a blog of a fan whose son was being treated for childhood cancer and after he passed she asked the mother if she could use what was written in the blog to write a song, when the song was released she gave the mom cowriting credits and any proceeds from the song go to the foundation set up by the mom for child cancer research. This is a small example of the things she has done. Even with all of this people complain and say she should be able to donate more since she is so wealthy.

I'll check it out later down the road when I get a better feel for the Eras :)

I think that an artists personality and relationship with their fans is what draws people into being diehard fans vs casual fans. Taylor’s personality has not changed since the beginning. She has stayed goofy, kind, and down to earth. She is the only artist I’ve ever heard of who invited fans to her house for listening sessions of their new album. She has shown up at fan’s wedding showers, gone to a WW2 vet fan’s house to surprise him, done all day meet and greets, incorporated things she saw in fans TikTok videos into her tour, etc. People make fun of how diehard Swifties are and call us a cult but it’s more like a family. She encourages us all to be kind to everyone and inclusive. She has a part of the Eras tour where each night she would present a special hat to a fan and j saw a video where a dad of a fan who received it said he was afraid someone in the crowd would try to take the hat from his daughter in the crowd but instead everybody they saw was cheering and high-fiving them and the next day he had hundreds of videos sent to him from fans in different parts of the arena showing different vantage points of his daughter receiving the hat. There are artists like Taylor who encourage that kind of environment vs others who encourage their fans to riot and break things or just don’t care about connecting with their fans at all. I think that’s been the secret to her longevity more than just her music.

Going backwards is very different! I usually see people go from the beginning and see the journey and how she’s evolved.. I’m here for the journey though! I think others have said it, but 2 people from her band have been with her from the very beginning, and her backup singers have been with her a long time as well! We do know all the dancers names 🤣 however these ones only have done the Eras Tour.

Heather M

can you watch the eras tour movie? it’s on disney+

sunny!

I just sent you 2 videos of Taylor Swift in a Direct message.

Chris Sk.

Miss Americana is from 2018-ish so its a little outdated now but gives a lot of personal insight into Taylor as a human. You will see her writing some songs from reputation and Lover in that movie but I don't think you need to have heard those albums to get the documentary :)

broccolit0

OMG YAY so excited you're continuing!! I'll be rushing here for every new upload haha. TYSM!!!

broccolit0

I am SAT for the Taylor journey! Great reaction!!

Emily Kazanfer

I'll thrown in a comment about her arm/hand thing haha she was most likely mimicking a piano for her rehearsal because she plays piano for a few songs as part of her eras tour. Another great reaction! Keep em coming!! 👌🏽🙂🤟🏼

Jacob J

Agree to all of this! And going backwards is gonna be nice and refreshing. And since he is asking, I hope over on YT they give great answers to the lore and questions.

Also, it was speculated for years that Tay got around backstage in a cleaning cart. Whether true or to play into it, during Eras Tour it was shown from fan videos of her getting into it. It’s definitely a fan lore thing.

I can do it with a broken heart is so meta because a few months into the eras tour (early 2023) it was reported that her and her boyfriend of 6 years broke up and we saw she was struggling through some of the shows, even teared up in few and sang some songs pretty pissed off during the acoustic sections on the eras tour. Then TTPD was announced early 2024 and it had I can do it with a broken heart, which is about her trying to get through this tour heartbroken and depressed 😂. I’m saying this because it seems like she thought we didn’t notice. What makes it meta is that she was still doing the eras tour for the rest of the year and added it to the setlist, a song about her going through it while on tour but still singing it on said tour.

Jenny V

I love your reactions but I really really hope you DO NOT do the Eras Tour until AFTER you do at least 7 albums. It’s 3 hrs of her performing all albums. It would be great if you understood her songs more before watching. But no matter when you do it, I’ll be there! 💕

Z

Thanks for doing this! Hope you manged to solve your pc crashing!! I sent you the TTPD tour set in the DM's if you want :) Taylor changes her dancers from time to time, though there were tours she continued with a few dancers from previous tours. But her band are the ones she's been with since her beginning in 2006. Her bassist, band manger and lead guitarist have all been with her for 18 years now. Her backup singers have been with her for 13 years now too. Taylor is a very family oriented. Her parents go with her everywhere and they all have parts in her career and brand. If you react to Midnights next, you should notice there are multiple versions of the album. Because she released a few versions after the initial album release. And the different versions have or missing some songs. the version that has the most Midnights songs is titled "Midnights (The 'Till Dawn Edition)". Here's the Spotify link: https://open.spotify.com/album/1fnJ7k0bllNfL1kVdNVW1A?si=blPdGBS8TXCLSC1SoCCgKg And even this version is missing A VERY IMPORTANT SONG FROM MIDNIGHTS, which she released as a separate song. The song is called "You're Losing Me" and it's about her breakup with her boyfriend of 6 years Joe Alwyn. Here's the link to you're losing me: https://open.spotify.com/track/3CWq0pAKKTWb0K4yiglDc4?si=F0IpNDpNT3C-taSOt65WGA

I’m glad you’re doing Miss Americana after Midnights. You’ll learn a lot more about her. I’d personally wait until you’re a few more albums in for the Eras tour, so that you know more of the songs. You’ve already picked up on what’s made her so successful, beyond her music: She’s transparent about everything with her fans, down to the lyrics. People really underestimate the power of honesty. You felt that bond watching this video, and that’s probably why you got emotional. Me too, Danny. Me too. ❤️

Dennis Roberts

you should check out the eras tour film too on disney plus
