Supporting what Dennis said, I definitely agree that you should watch the documentary. It’s on Apple TV+ and goes through her making the first album, headlining Coachella, and other stuff. Great reaction! This album was definitely a grower for me but its production and lyricism is top tier.

You make a great point of Male Fantasy being a great cap to the album. And I'm grossed out about the age gap. That dude was more than likely very manipulative.

Halley’s Comet is every 75-79 years, actually 😂😂😂 OverHeated is about a specific photo of her that was taken by the paparazzi the first time she wore a tank top in public after years of baggy shirts. She was getting every “fat” comment you can think of, especially from men on Twitter. I don’t blame her at all for being so pissed off in that track lyrically. It also remixes the beat from “Not My Responsibility”, so that’s why those two tracks transitioned so seamlessly. “Your Power” - She was with a 22 year old man when she was 17, and he fucked her up mentally. A good portion of the last few months of their relationship was documented in her documentary “the world’s a little blurry” (which you should absolutely watch sometime after the new album). The song “Happier Than Ever” is about him. “Male Fantasy” - I thought you seemed a bit confused by the lyrics in the first verse. When she says “distract myself with pornography, I hate the way she looks at me, I can’t stand the dialogue, she would never be that satisfied, it’s a male fantasy” she’s talking about the woman faking an orgasm in the porn she’s watching 😂 Ending the album with Male Fantasy was perfect in my opinion, because it dismantles the “fuck you, we’re done” message of Happier Than Ever (the track before it), which is exactly what Male Fantasy is about. She’s just pretending to get over him. I’m sure it will all make much more sense to you, now knowing of the age gap and her being 16/17 at the time. Lastly, FINNEAS is that bitch!! 😂 He’s a fantastic solo artist as well, and obviously never misses with production. I love that it’s just him and Billie on writing and production credits always. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!
