He got out of the front passenger side later in the video that isn't included in this version. if you notice right after they hit them, they lifted a blanket up in the backseat to hide what was going on in the car. a guy was actually the one driving and they swapped drivers and then they ran him off before any cops would get there. so the red car was in on it too. you can see in the end of the video the red car takes off.
