Halloween 2025 - Daily Story - Part 7

We had a nearly unanimous vote for Kyle to stay in his costume, so it's off to the fair we go! Vote below for what you want to see happen next!

Climbing carefully into the car to avoid ripping his pants any further, Kyle decided that his best option was to just head for the fair. He didn’t have another costume ready to go, unless he went in the attic and dug out what he’d worn last year, and besides, the cape covered the worst of the damage so it wasn’t like anyone would even know that his bare butt was slightly on show.

As for the hole in the crotch, that had mercifully not ripped any further, so Kyle was confident that he could get through a trip to the fair without any more mishaps.

It took him just over thirty minutes to get to the other side of town where a huge field had been turned into a massive funfair and carnival. Once Kyle found parking, he carefully got out of the car before buying a ticket and heading inside.

When he’d split with his boyfriend, his boyfriend had moved back to Canada and the friends they’d had together became his friends. One of those friends, Wes, was the guy that had invited him to the fair, and he pulled out his phone to call Wes, but before the call connected, he heard someone shout his name.

“Hey Wes,” Kyle called as Wes jogged over wearing an incredible Black Panther costume. “Where’s the mask?”

Wes laughed. “In my pocket. I can barely breathe in this damn costume, but with the mask, I may actually die.”

Kyle chuckled and gave his friend a hug. “Probably best to leave it off then.”

“Damn right. Loving the vampire look, bud. Are we generic vamp or anyone specific?”

“Just generic I think.”

Wes shrugged. “Maybe tight pants Dracula?”

Wes dissolved into laughter and Kyle closed his feet together, nervous that Wes might somehow know that his pants were ripped.

“I guess they are a little snug,” Kyle admitted when Wes continued to eye his tight pants.

“I’m not one to judge,” Wes said, looking down at his skintight lycra costume.

“So, where’s everyone else?”

Wes pointed over his shoulder. “Everyone kinda split up to do different things, but now you’re here, you’re with me. Where to first?”

Kyle looked around at the different rides, the stands selling cotton candy, toffee apples and hotdogs, and the various arcade games. “What would you suggest?”

Wes grinned. “Hall of Mirrors is hysterical, so we have to check that out. The Ghost Train is supposed to be super creepy this year, and we have to do the Crooked House. Apparently, when you go inside, you have to crawl and climb through it cause the rooms and stuff are so out of proportion. Which do you wanna do first?”

Kyle paused. Which did he want to do first?
