“I think we’ll stand you right here, next to the mannequins, Shaw. I think a few hours of being laughed at should do the trick. I’ll deal with the customers myself.”

Dan shrugged. “Not at all. Perhaps you’d like me to rustle up a few more customers to make his day that extra bit embarrassing?”

Mr Devine nodded in approval. “What an excellent idea. There’s a sale on in sportswear so you’re likely to find more customers there.”

Dan immediately raced off to sportswear to rustle up a few more customers to come and taunt Mr Shaw.

Meanwhile, seeing Dan disappear, Adonis decided that he wanted a bit more fun of his own, so once Mr Devine’s back was turned, he crept out through the curtain and, keeping ducked down, he headed over to Mr Shaw.
