[News] 2 New ESRGAN Models - 2022y/11m/24d
Added 2022-11-24 05:30:25 +0000 UTC2 New Models for RealESRGAN-NCNN-Vulkan engine will be released in the next month's updates.
1️⃣ First one is the new realesr-general(-wdn)-x4v3 model from the original Real-ESRGAN project. Originally not available for ncnn-vulkan, but I fixed that by myself. It's an universal model for both anime and photo super-resolution. With better background processing when processing photos.
2️⃣ The second one is created by myself, it doesn't have a name yet because I am really bad at naming stuff. For now I am just gonna call it the "Conservative" model.
It's designed for upscaling Low Resolution 3D Real-life media (like photos), and will try to reduce artifacts caused by "over processing", like the "oil painting effect" and "broken background blur".
It's denoise effect is not very strong, but it will make sure the upscaled photo still looks like a photo instead of an "oil painting".
*This model is not finalized and is still subject to changes, release date may change
