Unfortunately there is no 10-bit and x265 options in the default video settings, you can use custom video settings but it could cause some troubles. I will add these 2 settings in the future. Thank you for your suggestion.

Aaron Feng

You can enable "keep subtitles" in the video settings. And hardware accelerated encoding using hevc codec.

Aaron Feng

is there a way to keep subtitles and everything intact with x265 hevc 10-bit

Uruz7Laevatein

Ok paused and resumed. Appears to be working so far.

I got strips on PC which reqired a force restart. After restart it reported: Scale progress:[1170/2382] Duration progress:[960s/1420s] which is wierd, becouse frame interpolation is off, I set time slot to 60s and fotage is 25FPS which should result in 1500 or a bit less. I have it set to enlarge by 2x so it should run only once. And it appears to be stuck. - no progress for an hour

I forgot to mention that my PC specs re a R9 3900x GTX 1080Ti and 32gb of 3600mhz DDR4. But either way thanks for responding!

DjScribblez

I saw these kinds of video playback problems several times before, like there was one user told me he can't play one 8k 60fps video normally (which was generated by my software). Turns out that there is nothing wrong with that video, just his PC is not powerful enough to playback that video smoothly.

Aaron Feng

I don't really think it's necessary to send me that video since it's most likely not really a bug of my software.

Aaron Feng

Maybe the bit rate is too high? The auto-allocated bit rate of the output video sometimes could be very high. It's to make sure there won't be any visible quality losses during encoding.

Aaron Feng

That makes sense. Im still trying to figure out what exactly is causing this to happen as it does not happen with 4k movies. I've tried compressing to see if maybe too much data is what was causing this but that didnt work. Is there anyway I can send you a video of this happening while comparing it to other files?

DjScribblez

If the audio steam in that video is broken, it will not only breaks "when skipping through". It's just your video player having a hard time decoding that video

Aaron Feng

This issue might be caused by the decoder of your video player or your hardware

Aaron Feng

Quick question. When upscaling entire episodes the audio usually breaks when skipping through. Normally playing it it doesnt seem to happen. Is this a problem with the program or is it something else? I noticed that when I chose to not include subtitles this does not happen at all. I can skip through and still have audio regardless of what I do.

DjScribblez

저는 본 프로그램을 구입을 하여 매우 만족 합니다.

Thank you for your suggestion, I will add this to my to-do list

Aaron Feng

Yes it will work, unless the the scene shift always happens where the segments were "cut", which is very unlikely to happen

Aaron Feng

Oh, also, does scene shift detection properly work when processing by segment?

Elyorn

Maybe this is a silly suggestion, but would it be possible to have a toggle for a lossless output (h264 at crf 0/ -qp 0 or a different archival codec altogether) without having to use custom settings. I preefer to output to a lossless format so i can split up the workload and finetune the final encode. i'm sure there's generational loss as a result, but i haven't noticed it.
