In the last episode, we went deep into liminal spaces and boundaries.  In this episode, boundaries become invitations.

The researchers of Sitri Center begin to suspect that their work is mapping more than dreams.

Dr. Meg Aerin and Dr. Tessa Finn follow the strange logic of Lyra’s recurring visions.  The elevators, corridors, and subterranean stations match forgotten ancient sites from ancient Sumer.  As they decode the pretty pattern, the boundary between the Institute and the dream itself begins to blur.

Every act of surrender in this episode is chosen.  Every participant consents.  Descendent moves from science into myth, from observation into communion, as the Sitri team discovers that knowledge can open the same doors as desire.
