Well well !
Here's the creation log for day 69, already !
I set about organizing things better for the blender version. I still don't know how to package things properly for this software so... I'm trying to learn that so that you get the best possible version.
I worked on a new block, including that iconic Tina hotel ( one I'd get above, not inside, althought the inside is scandalously luxurious and blooming ), and sadly ended giving up for now because of silly geometry problem in the DAZ conversion.
So... I focused my attention on another city block, removed the existing cranes which were waaaay too blocky, and reworked another one, lowering its polycount from 60000 to 9000 vertices so that it matches Cities! overal weight, build a fence, textured it all, made a render to give you an idea of how it looks like. And it looks good.
I really really want to play with this crane now.
And the big picture ?
Blocks after blocks, Cities should become a diverse and flexible city, beautiful under every lighting conditions. With it being diverse enough, there will be enough for it to not being repetitive when used and hopefully, each and everyone of you will find their favorite spots in it.
I'm making something worthy of being explored. And destroyed.
Voila !
Next alpha... soon I hope. Maybe this week.
Stay tuned !
