Chapter Art and Progress Report

Hi everyone, it's been awhile. I hope you've all been keeping well, and sorry this is going up later than I had previously planned, for whatever reason i was never quite happy with this one, something about the colour scheme just wasn't working for me, but eventually i said screw it, I'm posting it, warts and all.

So... where to begin, the last two months have been... interesting, I'm sure you've all heard about the whole 'collective Shout' censorship... thing. It has been a whole ordeal, and it has absolutely ruined Itch.io for many creators like myself. And if that wasn't enough, my country has gone full 1984 and have introduced their own censorship laws regarding the internet. and let me just say, they can all eat a collective dick!

I could rant about this stuff for ages, and trust me, i have, but i will spare you. So for the next update I plan to have it out on the 6th or the 7th if everything goes well... and the government don't seize my hard-drive or something.

Illustrations - 100%

Programming - 40ish%

So, it very much feels like I'm on track, despite the fact i was hoping to be completely ahead of myself for future updates. But that whole censorship bullshit really did throw a bit of a spanner into the works.

I think I said in past posts my computer is on it's last legs, and... unfortunately i had another crash while i was doing the programming, which means previous saves will most likely not work (sigh) I really can't tell you how sorry i am about this. I am saving for a new computer, but ya' know... money. regardless i will upload the next update with some saves so you don't have to speed-run that shit for the hundredth time.

p.s. as for the bonus content, it's basically done, I've just been trying to build it a unique interface, like a nice menu and such, which I'm really bad at doing, so i might just post it sooner rather than later and work on that stuff further down the line, so it might look a little rough and ready.

Anyway, that more or less sums up what's been going on, can't wait to show you all the upcoming content, and i hope you all have a good day/night.
