Writing this on my phone, because Patreon won't send me the god dang varification mail for my desktop.
Let's get right to it: I lost all my stuff from the past 6 months. Hundreds of hours of work just poof.
I bought a dedicated Backup USB Harddrive and spent days making a huge backup of all my stuff.
But as I created an installation medium for Win10 I accidentally selected the Backup drive instead of the USB stick. I have done this a million times, none of it was new to me, so I didn't even notice it at first. Oh boy was that a surprise AFTER I reinstalled windows and formatted all my six harddrives.
Of course evryething is gone. I tried recovering the data, but seems like it has been formatted thoroughly.
The saddest part is that this means that Jolias and the Pills is over now. Also Mike and Egon are no more. I’ll get the 8 last images ready and upload them once I can. So in a few days. Luckily they were uploaded to my cloud.
I need some time to get set up again and download my 680 GB of cloud backup. I’ll use that time to think about what to do next.
There will still be updates of the Jonas Story.
So, what does that mean for you? The answer is not much. I will have to move on, start a new project. I already got a bunch of ideas, but feel free to share your hopes and ideas for new projects with me. Sometimes I get great inspiration out of suggestions. The schedule of this Patreon will stay the same. So don’t worry, nothing will really change.

It was the worst loss of savefiles ever. I still hate myself for not being more careful back then

2020-05-12 17:33:38 +0000 UTCDevastated. I can only imagine how you must feel about this. I don't know what I'd do if I lost the images I've created over the years. At one point I started printing them all out to make sure I had hard copies. I have an external hard-drive but I'm too lazy to regularly do anything with it.

Leider sind alle fgast alle Speicherdaten von Jolias and the Pills verloren gegangen weshalb das leider nicht mehr weiter gehen wird. Aber ich bin schon dabei mir was neues einfallen zu lassen!

Also there is sadly no backup of Mike either and I don't think I can recreate him. I will probably do a new Character inspired by him that will look simillar. I too loved the series, but there will be new things! ^^

2020-01-23 10:43:42 +0000 UTCOh nein. wie frustrierend ... Das tut mir leid. Deine Arbeiten sind einfach klasse. Die Story mit Jonas wird sicherlich super. Bei Julias hat mir am Ende der wahnsinnige Größenunterschied gefallen. Ein Charakter, der nicht einmal mehr im Raum richtig stehen kann finde ich einfach Hammer. Wäre doch spannend, wenn z.B. die Pille von Mike einen "Mega-Boos" auslöst und er plötzlich noch größer als Jolias wird *mhmhm* Vielleicht das ganz in einer abgelegenen Hütte im Wald, wo sie größer und größer werden können :-)

I mean, not right now (i know renders and 3d drawing takes time), but with time u'll be able to resume, right?. it's a shame to just end that series like this. it was really good. ó_ò
