Elisa's Backstory

She was engaged to one of the heads of the Malone Mob who used to own a club. She never really cared for him, but she worked as a waitress there, and always wanted to start a business of her own. Their relationship was more professional than romantic as she took over the club. They were almost happy, until she realized he had been using the club for human trafficking. She confronted him about it, which ended up with him stabbing her out of frustration. When she came back from the hospital, she directly went to Maeve Malone to plead her case. She needed him out of the picture for good. She was never proven guilty of the murder of her fiance, even though she was suspected of it.

In exchange for that favor, she began to work closely with Maeve Malone. They shared a very close relationship, and would even consider each other friends as time went by. During this time she started a new relationship with a member of another mob, Mason. What started as a playful relationship turned into a lot more than what they were prepared for. Mason would do some jobs for her, but when he was offered lots of money, he couldn't help but betray Elisa. From there it was an on and off relationship, but she had bigger problems to care for. The club had gotten a lot bigger since she took over, she even had to hire Evie Decoux to help her out.

One of the Malone members suspected Sebastian, Elisa’s brother, of foul play. The club was raided; Elisa only got there to find Ruby hidden under the stage, and Sebastian dead behind the bar. His death broke Elisa, who rushed to find Maeve. She quickly lost control, and shot her business partner when questioning her about the raid. Realizing the consequences of her actions, she had no other but to go into hiding. Zeta Carmichael provided safe passage to Hadesdown, where she stayed for a few months under a new identity.

She only came back when she heard the news about Mason, and Ruby’s kidnapping. Terrible mistake on her part, because Maeve had put a price on her head. Elisa knew that, so she reached out to Randall, who she knew the true nature of. Randall had died and come back to life. Elisa wanted the same security, at least that’s what she thought. So they passed a deal; the price was her soul. At this point, the Malone boss hired a hitman who had infiltrated Elisa’s life months ago to keep tabs on her. Evan was Elisa’s therapist months prior. It was then easy for her to capture Elisa and bring her back to Maeve.

Elisa died that night. Bullet through the heart, from Evan with Maeve’s compliments.

Only to wake up in her coffin, as Randall dug her out.
