Concept and Progress
Added 2020-10-14 21:05:32 +0000 UTCI started playing around with the concept and would like to showcase the idea. So none of the above shown probably would make the final cut, as all what is strapped on the figure is Hair that basically not mine.
So after visulizing this concept, I came to certain conclusions that I would follow through with:
- Will remove the hair ears and add Feline ears like Felia (Performance Gain)
- Will remove full body fur and replace it with texture pattern to simulate hair, mostly like the uncovered areas of Jaza + Felia full texture apart from human features areas (Performance Gain)
- Will create Hand/feet morphs that are more feline, probably stretch the nails a bit too.
- As she is an Arctic Wolf concept, probably will stick with the overall color scheme, but will have to figure out the feasibility of injecting stripes? Will research once we tackle textures.
- Will remove the hair tail, regardless of how it looks, I can only see it as horse tail for some reason. This means building a new tail which would probably let me dive into hair/fur shaders in unity, let's see how far this goes. (Gain Performance - Gain Tail to collide with things with new rigg system)
Good news, as seen in the 3rd picture, I already started working on the base look, which uses one of my older never released models. Reworked her but she is mostly still WIP, still working on the sculpts of the body, can say that the face is mostly completed.
Overall, will be expecting a release for the new Base Look this weekend hopefully if all goes well and i do not decide to create new clothing again lol! Then will go full throttle on the Arctic Wolf Monster Look 😄
