It could be said that this note will be both a blog and a presentation.

When developing the stories I am commissioned to write, I am usually told which characters will be involved in the story, but sometimes I am only given descriptions or sometimes just mentions that (◔_◔) ‘here goes a character’ . In these cases, I use my character catalogue to find one that best fits the description or the role it must play in the story. ヾ( ˃ᴗ˂ )◞

This catalogue is one that I am constantly expanding so that I have a model for every possible case. I'll be honest, I usually create characters quietly in my spare time and only show them to people I trust to get their opinion, then I store the model in a trunk until it has a chance to participate in a story. Whether this happens soon or after a long time is simply a matter of luck. ( · ❛ ֊ ❛)

But after having a chat with my brother, he said to me,(╭ರ_•́) ‘Why do you create so many characters and expect someone to choose them if no one knows they exist?’ And, well... he's right. Σ(°ロ°)

So, after listening to his suggestion that I make a small presentation, here we are.

依頼を受けて物語を開発する際、通常はどのキャラクターが登場するかが指示されますが、時には説明だけ渡されることもあれば、「ここにキャラクターを入れる」(◔_◔) というだけの場合もあります。そうしたケースでは、私のキャラクターカタログを参照し、その説明や物語で果たすべき役割に最も合うキャラクターを探します。

ヾ( ˃ᴗ˂ )◞

このカタログはあらゆるケースに対応できるよう、常に拡充を続けています。正直なところ、普段はこっそり空き時間にキャラクターを作り、信頼できる人にだけ意見を求め、その後トランクにしまい込んで物語に登場する機会を待つのです。それがすぐ訪れるか、長い時間がかかるかは運次第。( · ❛ ֊ ❛)

しかし兄と話した際、彼はこう言った。(╭ರ_•́)「存在すら知られていないキャラを大量に作り、誰かに選ばれるのを待つなんて、どう考えてもおかしいだろ？」…そうだな…確かにその通りだ。Σ(°ロ°)

そこで彼の提案に従い、小さな紹介をすることにした。

This is a prototype format, which will change as I learn and organise how to make presentations.
