Mawile!

As the winner of a once made poll, here is Mawile.

Hi, designing Mawile came with some challenges; but at the end I think I reached a decent enough result.

In the final portrait she's hiding most of her body, so I added some extra concept arts so you can get a better idea of her general design.

Since Mawile is a short whimsical goblin like creature I decided to use Imp MIdna as a base for her body shape, I mentioned it a couple of times, but I try not to go to far away from the original designs when making the lewdmons, I think I choose a good middle point, I hope is it for everyone liking.

Then, when it comes out to her second mouth, since she's inspired in the Futakuchi-onna, a yokai with a mouth hidden under her hair, I always interpreted the mouth shape as something trying to imitate a long ponytail, so following said idea I tried giving the black sections of her body to look more like actual hair, and since she's a steel type I tried giving it a metallic vibe with the color and highlights, but I'm not sure if I really make it clear.

Another aspect of her design are in her legs, as her design have a heavy japanese inspiration, I assume the bagginess of her legs are trying to imitate a hakama, I'm not really a fan of pokemon having clothes on their designs, but when I tried drawing he without them she does ended up looking weird, in the end I gave them more of a sharp aspect, I image them being actually really hard and sharp blade like folds she can move, tense and relax at will, nut maybe I'm just overthinking.

Other aspect of her I debated about is her personality, in the dex descriptions mawile always is described as a devious little creature weaponizing their external cute appearance to surprise attack their prey and kill them in tortuously.

But in every other apparition mawile have has in the games, manga and anime, it actually is as cute as docile as it's looks... so.

Going to the next point, the mouth in her hair isn't supposed to be an actual mouth, but it being and actual mouth is more metal, so in my head cannon it is.

I want it to be a little off putting and crazy looking, but not go too heavy into that, I was thinking of making the teeth retractable, so putting something inside isn't an instant cutting hazard, just as an idea.

I also thought of giving it a tongue, for more fun.
