And it'd be fun to have the music subtly shift throughout the story, mirroring Jack's transformation into Jill. Maybe starting with more masculine, aggressive tones and gradually becoming softer. 😊

Emily's conflicted about Connor, especially after he was "with" Josie in the hotel room - and the revelation that he cheated on her as part of his "spy duties." While Emily wants to try to rescue him, she doesn't see a future with him romantically.

By showing that climactic moment with Xu and Jill, then rewinding, we get to see how all the pieces fall into place. Hopefully, it's like a puzzle where you know the final image but have to figure out how it all comes together. 😊

I don't see it as a simple case of brainwashing. It's more like her core traits have been amplified and redirected. Her desire to help others now manifests in ways that align with Second Dawn's goals, even as she believes she's resisting them. She's in a tough spot!

Josie’s story of change is great to reread with continunity provided by Tim. Wow! It was so interesting to look again in more insight into the different themes and the various parallel, overlapping story lines you have created Emory. I picked up new insights from what at the time were vague comments and murmurings. For instance, the over heard end of a conversation between Dr Dawson and Mr Xu in Phase 7 and the subtle revelation of a clandestine planned ‘specialist transplant surgery’ to be conducted post the ‘coming out supper.’ All of a sudden the ‘penny has dropped’ around Jill’s disappearance. Such great depth and story telling Emory. I look forward to the next chapter in this masterpiece.

Great pacing - the use of the lighting and the running boots in the first few panels sets up the percussive rhythm for the remainder. Brilliantly done, Emory. And given the potential for confusion you’ve given us clarity by keeping the number of characters down to four until very near the end. I hope that Emily’s misreading of Jill’s new psychology isn’t going to compromise the rescue attempts later - Jill is infinitely more determined and much stronger than Emily assumes. And it sounds, via Josie, that Conner has already left the island. Incidentally, Josie is seriously voluptuous, but has such a pretty face. And Jill becomes more beautiful every time we see her. So, who shot Xu? I have my own theory, and I picked up another clue from this chapter. All will be revealed in good time. (Laughs maniacally)

However, Olivia introduces her as a "white" bikini... a new trainee who is as yet unnamed. Perhaps the girl in white is Maria's less experienced and still virginal twin bro... err, sister?

Like Vienna and Summer, Krystyna is highly moral, loving, selfless, unflinchingly brave and also mentally tormented by survivor's guilt and entangling her saviors in the clutches of Second Dawn. "Resurrected" with muse Emory's permission. The girl who tried to commit suicide by drowning. Re-read J&J Phase 8, Part 21 Panel 9 for further information. Katherine Heigl/Aletta Ocean-as Tammy Lynette Doyle-Lachance/Thomas Lyndon Monroe. Holly's long-thought-dead father brought back from the brink of death by the Crowes after being shot by them with tetrodotoxin laced bullets at Xu's orders to prove their loyalty to the nascent Second Dawn. Underwent significant organ and skin transplants from 3 drunken teenage cheerleader "donors" who died in a car accident when they tried to play chicken with a massive centuries old oak tree located just across from Eldermount Ranch. SPOILER ALERT: Oak tree won. Lungs, kidneys, heart, liver, spleen, pancreas as well as a full intestinal tract transplant. As "proof" of their successful "killing", the Crowes brought back his genitals, other bullet riddled organs and teeth to Mr. Xu, who was in equal parts impressed by their loyalty and thoroughness and repulsed by their seeming brutality, although he tested every organ against Holly's D.N.A...just to be certain. After being safely "dead" he was feminized by the Crowes to such extent he was unrecognizable and then trained under their influence to become the perfect companion, chauffeur and also the perfect weapon, given his vast financial and investment banking expertise along with his N.S.A/C.I.A training in tracking "dirty money". More to follow and please be gentle. It's my first time creating characters like these.

Jill saying "Too Little, too Late" when seeing her keep hands down from her. Emily, horrified, can really tell by Jill's eyes that she fully a member of Xu's membership. I know Jill has a plan thinking of trying to save everyone, but the more she tries to "save" the remaining members the more she is losing herself. Mason's hormones didn't just alter Jack/Jill 's body, but her mind, too. Xu capitalized on Jill's empathy very well based on the formal men to making her almost his subordinate since the previous chapters. Emily seeing Member Jill than her brother really is hard for her especially four years. I wonder how Mason is going to react see this version of Jill. What happen to Conner after Jill's visit?
