Last episode, Davis set his eyes on Brooke (who we first met at the end of Phase 8 on the yacht) as a replacement for Kendra... Will he get away with taking her as his new bride? Or will the "coven" (Holly's group of handlers who train the companions) have something to say about it?
Meanwhile, Jill was on her way to see Connor...

P.S. We get to meet a new character! She was mentioned previously, but this is the first time we're seeing her in the story.

His hubris needed a reality check, and Akari was just the person to deliver it. Regarding resurrecting "deceased" characters, I think it's wonderful that you're bringing back the girl who jumped overboard as one of your fanfic characters. For the procurement numbers for Summer and Shunfen, those dates are about nine months prior to what we're seeing in the story. The numbers would be between 368 and 383.

From the Coven we already know Holly, Gina, Akira and we are still missing Lola who we will meet at the meeting with Xu or at the Coven meeting. I look forward to learning more about Akira and Lola. I think Davis will get a good scolding from Mr. Xu, but I also think the Coven will not leave the meeting happy either. Knowing Xu, he will want to maintain the balance of power to keep all of his employees on edge. And I think he will mark territory, make it clear who is in charge in the Organization. So the pressure cooker will rise. Also, let's not forget that the Platinum Star members are already on the island... and Jill's father... and the rescue team! I think, Emory, that these 44 hours are going to be veeeeeery long... something I love! (I am passionate about epic fantasy sagas and their thousands of pages... hehehe.

Yeah, her height and strength make her quite imposing - but, as we'll see, she's a softy when it comes to her charges (mostly - she can be a little grumpy ๐). The sequence with Jill and Connor is another emotional moment for Jill - she's thinking of Emily mostly. And Gabriel's desperation was intended to show that the Second Dawn machine is more than the drama we're seeing - and it is definitely still churning out girls!

Akari is definitely one of the most formidable characters on the island - her backstory is something Iโm excited to reveal in future chapters. ๐ Regarding Connorโs surgeries, yes, the 650cc implants were a specific request from his intended buyer. The transformation has been tailored to meet very particular standards!

I don't remember her previous mention but since she's so tall, I'm gonna infer she is a product of Clinic 12 too, and I absolutely love how Davis has to look up at her. The sequence with Jill's expressions as she discovers what has happened to Connor and Gabriel's pleading are just so superb. Absolutely amazing work here!

I was wonder during Conner/Connie's surgery did the doctor alter his vocal cords as well? Connie is not going to be happy to see Jill after previous two chapters to lead to his capture and the surgery. Who is going to help her adjust to womanhood? Davis really wants to make Connie really attractive for the prince as possible.
