A long and - I hope - fun episode of Half Sisters. This will end Nikki's "mall trilogy," but the fun doesn't stop here.
At the end of this episode are four pinups, each one being an outfit chosen by one of the characters - Nikki, Lauren, Evie, and Mom. But it's a surprise who chose which (although maybe you can guess). Later this week, you'll get to vote on which of the outfits Nikki will wear on her date with Zach!

Practicing a femme walk is slacks is also a LOT more challenging than a skirt/dress. I thought that Lauren, to twist the knife, would put her is the flashiest outfit. I thought Nikki would prefer a spacious outfit that hid her shape, and I simply figured mom would choose the best one that would not embarrass her child, hence I picked #4 for mom. Ig I am wrong, then maybe flip one and 4?

She needs to start merging her past and present selves in a way that feels authentic to her. Lauren's reaction was definitely one of surprise...and now she's beginning to wonder if Evie was right all along!

2024-02-15 17:20:20 +0000 UTCOh my gosh, I adore these three together so much. ♥ Between Evie being supportive of who she's understandably VERY sure is an awkward trans girl unaware of how gorgeous she is, and the Lauren-Nikki dynamic softening into more playful teasing (and I think some earnest effort on Lauren's part to help Nikki adjust), and most importantly Nikki not fighting back every step of the way for once! It all just turned into a really fun little arc. I especially loved Nikki picking out shoes that are actually pretty cute and feminine even at a glance, but also neutral enough that the Nick side of her can be okay with them too. And Lauren's reaction! I think she's as impressed as she was surprised!

It's important that Nikki is giving gender that is uniquely hers; not like Holly at all. Holly did end up actualizing herself and I hope that Nikki is edging closer and closer to it.

Besides, I don't know if I'm judging the outfits or by the faces Nikki makes when she tries them on! Well let's give it a try! Evie - The belt goes perfectly with the shoes that Nikki chose, she liked those shoes too and she knows about styling! Nikki - I think this is Nikki's choice, she might prefer a skirt in a less flashy color although it looks nice and I would choose that for her. Lauren - because of the neckline I think this is Lauren's choice, although the outfit screams business 😉 and judging by the face I think even Nikki likes it. Mom - The last one is a safe classic, it has to be from mom. I hope it will be a multiple choice poll because the choice is really hard. All the outfits are really beautiful.

I know you're not a mind reader and that great minds think alike, but my goodness that redhead shop-girl (HOT, HOT, HOT-I like very much) and Lauren falling over, Nikki still being the best and such a fast learner in high heels despite what happened to her. That said, I’ve spent enough nights out in Texas to realise that people take things pretty easy there, so anything goes, I guess. Whilst she looks cute in first outfit I believe she can do better and find something pretty but also sexy. Whilst I enjoyed this episode it seems to be like the tantalising build up to the main event . Looking forward to Nikki’s outfit choice which will shape the direction of her story as well as how she will be on her date with Zac. Really looking forward to his reaction and possibly surprising himself as he begins to warm up more to how Nikki looks now.
