Maybe the meeting with the elders will even convince Alaric to choose a female name (or let Rowena choose one for him). People will need a name that gives them hope. "Prince at heart, but a queen at image" beautifully said. Alaric's image as queen is so beautiful ๐!

2023-08-13 15:21:53 +0000 UTCReading all three parts of this beautiful story I see you've created a hero. Alaric is a survivor but still needs to accept himself before he can do good to his people and that's what is just starting to happen. This is definitely a story to develop. I love it.

Waking in the night to discover his waist cinching? His feet slowly becoming to small for his boots. The first person to mention the word 'woman' or 'maiden' around him. EDIT - just realised there's a parts 1 and 2 which answer that ๐

Thereโs plenty going on without any actual action happening , as Alaric - silly name for a beautiful woman - comes to terms with her new self and all that it means. I presume youโve already got the rest of the tale more or less mapped out, but thereโs scope here for a full saga if you wanted to develop it into one.
