Phase 8 has been the longest by far, clocking in at nearly 500 panels. Poor Jill deserves a bit of a break! 😉 We have two phases left in the Jack & Jill epic. Isn't that nuts?

While Gina may appear slightly less monstrous than Mr. Davis, it seems she takes pleasure in her job, while Davis readily admits his sociopathic nature. So who is more the monster? The concept of punishment and justice is not always straightforward. Jill, despite all the pain she has endured, seems to be evolving and becoming more open to working "with" the wicked in some way. Will she hold steadfast to her principles, or might she find herself making unexpected alliances?

Your ability to design characters both artistically and intrinsically is incredible! The art is magnificent bordering on pseudo realistic movie without the weird uncanny valley effect. They all feel interesting and true to human emotion. I’m interested to see how the new players of Mads, Jill’s dad, and others all come into play. How terrifying tho! to be used as a pawn for the furthering of a corrupt group is quite literally hell. It seems like everything is teetering on tight rope ready to fall into place! Can’t wait for the next season and beautiful work emory!!!!

I’d like to see 1 of Xu’s men working under him watching the videos or having had been in the background watching Jill. Then Jill meets *her* in the process of becoming a woman. She is also eager to thank Jill. Because the man, slowly realizes after watching Jill that He wants to become a women and he becomes the first man to ask to turn him into a woman, and that he wants to be just like Jill. Or maybe he isn’t a women yet and while she is talking to Xu, he asks Xu if he can become one of Jill’s companions, completely taking both by surprise

I can't wait to see Jill go over the "witches" and controllers, as well as the toys and companions, in season 9. And briefing herself on the rules and "games" of the Outing Contest. As for Gina, I think we still have little information about her motives and interests, so I'll refrain from commenting for now. The only thing I will say is that I think the difference between "toys" and "companions", is obvious and important and being in one group or the other - HIT vs Aquelarre - I think is a big difference... although we still need more information to know why both controllers and victims are chosen for one group or the other. Ava is very cute!!!, I would love to see her with her "friend" Brooke, they must have a very interesting history and relationship.... Emory, have you left any clues about Ava in any captions or earlier in the story? Finally, once again congratulations for your excellent work, I continue to be amazed with your art and stories.🤩

In this one, I particularly liked two revelations that definitely helped create a rich and deep universe. I'm talking about the algorithm based on Jill’s mind and the propaganda movies with slices of her transformation. Great work, can't wait for more! ❤️

Certainly all your characters you have created have a depth and complexity that makes them so real, none of them are ‘black and white caricatures’. My focus and comments, are more focused on the gorgeous imaginary you have created. I keep finding myself getting lost in beautiful aesthetics of your artistry as well as the ‘cute’ new characters’ you have introduced and the ever evolving new artistic renderings of Jill and as well as other characters in the story. Your images are becoming so ‘life like’ and are all so pretty (cute Ava). I also like the small little touches you have in your story. Ava’s reading ‘All Woman’ by Bryan Bruce and the beautiful designed cute dress you have created for her to wear. Finally, I love the beautiful form of the final image of Jill as she dives into the water (both physically and symbolically) with her Dad watching. Great conclusion to end phase 8 Emory. You have literally left us all wondering how Jill will ‘emerge’ moving forward as you keep us all in suspense around what will happen in the next phase of Jack and Jill story. Thanks again Emory for this and your other great stories.

They both affect Jill psychological (manipulation and morality by taking jabs at Jill's outer and inner (Jack) identify conflicts). Gina, despite being in League with Xu, knows how to keep Jill in tact on being the "next heir" for the Second Dawn. While Davis does the simular thing as well being truthful, he does it by being a leeching creep around Jill.

But he ALSO instilled an unquestioned adoration of Jill herself in them. They see her as a role model. Someone who sets an example for them to follow. Consider: what if Jill were to stage an actual coup? Try to take over Xu's entire operation? I think Ava, Brooke, et al, might actually side with her.

I look at Gina and I see her just very slightly less monstrous than Mr. Davis and Dr. Hatcher worse, if that's even possible to be worse than Davis. I really see Gina as a monster who should either spend the rest of her life in jail or is spared jail in return for an organ transplant: giving up her reproductive functions to Jill. I hope that's keeping with the darker themes in your works, my darling muse. Jill and all the toys and companions have suffered enough...and I believe it is time for the wicked to start suffering for their crimes.
