Again Zach hints to Nikki that a few years ago he did have friends... and from your comments to other responses, Em, I sense that Zach has changed since then too, that he used to be friends with Jess and Sophia. It's clear that they've both been well screwed by their parents, much more so Nick than Zach, obviously, but that they both have a heavy backpack on their backs. I also found it a very funny conversation where you can see the complicity of two old buddies. PS: can someone explain me the context of the comment "He had a pho"? What is pho? It is to be able to translate it well, I have an intuition but I prefer to ask it.😉

As for Zach, he definitely has his own struggles. He lost quite a few friends when he joined the football team, and that became a point of contention with Jessica who once thought of him as a pal. Hopefully, he'll be able to break free and be himself - and hopefully, Nikki can find some catharsis and healing through their friendship! Life Is Strange is an amazing game!

I think if Nikki had shot Davis, it's quite possible that Xu would have "eaten" the loss. After all, Nikki was a commission. That is, her transition was bought and paid for by Hutchins - and Xu is very big on keeping his word. There was no way of the island. The truth is, if Nikki had shot Davis she'd probably be exactly where she is today. Although, I imagine her remaining time at the island would've been even more awful.

Nikki’s whole arc really makes me feel bad for her after realizing the amount of ptsd she might have and such. I also adore everything about Nikki’s little speech towards the end. I’m not surprised she keeps going back to the beach in her head. Nick never left the beach; Nikki is who’s left. Such good writing! And LIFE IS STRANGE!!!! Zach new best character.
