If he wasn’t, Mr. Xu wouldn’t keep him around. Pitting Connor against Jill is serving several purposes, as you’ve said. Davis is more clever than he seems!

There’s some serious psychology going on here, and it’s another reminder to Jill of her loss of masculinity and strength as well as dependence on others. She’s not going to come to any real harm, just enough to chasten her. As for Connor, he’s also going to be humbled and made aware of how little agency he has. It’s all a question of how long he’s prepared to maintain the fight.

Thank god Mason's elixir doesn't create only plump and curvy women, I already thought this was the case hehehehe.... By now we had 2 out of 2: Josie and Jill. Because I think, Holly, Angela and Janelle were created by "traditional" means (here we also have 2 for 3). The one I'm not sure about is Nikki, who I think is also being treated with Mason's elixir, so that would break my absurd theory... The important thing, I think Connor/Connie is going to be a very beautiful girl! hehehehe. As for the chapter, it's going to be interesting plot development we are presented with, although I think with "D" day (The Departure), so close, there must be less than 14 days left, it has me a bit puzzled, since, except for Em, the rest of us don't know what will come of it..... I love it! I think Emory once said he was projecting 10 phases in the story, so I'm more reassured that there will be good development to unravel the tangle whatever happens on "D" day. (I hope these last 3 phases will be as long as phase 7, or longer...) 😘 Keep it up Emory, I love your talent.

2022-05-03 21:57:43 +0000 UTCThis is pretty much her first encounter with a guy who wishes to actively HURT her (unless you define, like, forced fem as harm, which, uh), since all the other times have either been Davis being Davis, or early in her stay when she attacked the electrolysis technician and Mason had to stop her. I find myself wondering if this is going to make it sink in how much different her life will be now even more than the time on the mainland did.

I knew this is how it would go, that Jill would try the soft approach and find herself up against a wall "literally" I felt it in my bones.... oh after the first meeting Jill will probably be a bit confused.... but I think she'll get over it.... this first attack on her neck will cause her to quickly get over the family sentiment and move on to the task like a pro :)

Coughing Jill knees him hard in what little remaining nuts *she has. Conner falls to the floor in pain more from the double pain and weakness from refusing to eat. Jill coughing apologizing tries to prevent what happens next but is too late
