You know the "this is the kind off guy I was and used to joke with, and now I'm more like the type of girl we used to talk about and use". You're telling such a compelling story. Can't wait for the next chapter.

Plus since Sofia has a female 'friend'/potential love interest it would be a nicer contrast for Nikki to have a male one.
