P.S. Timeline-wise, this edition makes it clear that Jack has been captured for years at this point. The first "timestamp" we have is from a camera feed in late 2016. That said, it's not 2021 yet in the story. 😀

I have an idea......what if we did a quick aside to one of the previous characters we haven't seen in awhile, but they have been sold like Xu said. I'd love to see what life is like for them!
