here is the changelog:
- Chapter system introduced (you start a new chapter after discovering a temple and then writing notes about it at home, in the study, currently only some new content for chapter 2);
- New tattoos and piercings;
- Drastically reduced daily payments in the Cowgirl path (from 300 to 100) until better options to make money for the player are in place;
- Reduced slave cost from 10000 to 3000 (at least until the game grows larger);
- New quest (still from Kira in the bazaar);
- Added a mailbox to the game;
- Added the new mouse-less system for pointing spells, as well as revamped the tutorial a little (more work needed in the future);
and here is the bugfixing:
- Fixed Jin's dialogue recognizing pelvic tattoos incorrectly;
- Now slaves go to sleep when it's late;
- Fixed being able to sell mana crystals everywhere;
- Fixed Priestess of Santhora reacting to the ghost before the protagonist knows about it;
- Fixed issue upon revisiting the second temple (water wasn't drained correctly);
A few notes:
The mailbox uses a script I didn't write, which sadly doesn't fully work as advertised. I actually made a functional alternative myself, but I didn't want to shove it in the game without some further testing and some work on the presentation, so for now we get this gimped version. The full version will use an indicator on top of the mailbox, so you always know at a glance when there are unread letters;
The changes to pricing and expenses should make the game easier, until I add more ways to earn money or give players promotions at work (since that's what I'll work on next, maybe we'll see something starting from the next update);
The new quest is quite complex (since there are 3 different situations you can be in which affect how it plays out) and because of the delays and personal problems, I couldn't really test it as I'd like, please let me know if there is anything wrong (I have no problems working on Christmas, if it's for bugfixing, since I really, REALLY hate bugs);
The new chapter stuff is still minor, but hopefully what little is there is interesting. If you can think of something you feel should be changed (dialogues, events, etc.) feel free to suggest me anything. It's still early on, so it's the best time to tell me your ideas for it;
I changed a bit how the game displays some of the stuff for the layered images. I think everything should be fine, but of course report any oddities;
