Weither for my own illustrations or photos, Yoshitaka Amano is always a reference to me.
His art, heavily influenced by Art Nouveau but also traditionnal japanese art is very recognizable by the fluid and delicate movements of his characters.
Today I present you the tome 2 of Mono, an artbook exhibiting his mastery of brush and ink.
This book contains some of my favorite illustrations, such as "His eyes charmed her" (p.3) and "Be a slave to Love" (p.8)
