I’m super late, but I have so much to say about this episode! I was at the screening for the battle, and it was such a fun experience (there’s even a full shot of me looking totally wild 😂). Then yesterday, I was at the next elimination battle, it was absolutely insane! I’ll try to answer some of your questions about how things go behind the scenes, and feel free to ask more, I’ll do my best to respond. First, all the judges actually give comments after every battle, but a lot of that gets cut in the final edit. Also, the filming takes a long time because the international crew has to wait for translations before they can respond, there’s a bit of a delay. During this battle, Hanbin had a lot of trouble spinning the bottle. It kept pointing him (seriously, at least 10 times), and everyone was asking him to dance, but he didn’t. The energy in the room was absolutely electric, and Ojo killed it. I really think they deserved the win. Ibuki’s waacking is unbelievably clean in person; the camera doesn’t do her justice. Before each battle, every crew actually performs, but they don’t air that part. For this episode, they did the K-pop mission. Hanbin is unreal in person, he was standing just a meter away from me, and he is honestly the definition of perfection. He’s also super kind and tries to respond to everyone. He improved a lot as an MC and it was visible during yesterday’s battle. Even though it looks quick on screen, the battle itself takes about 5 hours to film. I’m sure I forgot a bunch of stuff, but those are some behind-the-scenes insights. I’ll share more after the next battle! Sorry for the long message 😅

They also said in the fan moments that they'll debut on July 1st. Interested in your reaction to the songs with the AHOF debut members and the debut song when it comes out. They also have variety show content out their AHOF channel on Youtube now if you geet interested and want to watch later.

2025-06-22 20:21:55 +0000 UTCIn terms of elimination battles in swf, this was the closest one and the only one where i couldn’t see a clear winner/loser, bringing more judges definitely helped bridge the subjectivity when two different teams like RF and Ojo gang face off. Still would argue that it was one of the most subjective battles through the show followed by the No Respect battles of this season. Sad to see RF go this early knowing they would’ve pulled up for the Mega Crew Mission but oh well, we live and we learn. Their legacy on this show will definitely be remembered, indeed impressive, especially given how young they are in comparison to everyone else. Can’t wait for you to check out next week’s mission as the criteria seems to have changed quite a bit this time around! So interesting

2025-06-21 22:21:02 +0000 UTCKyoka is so cool. I really feel like she was in her element there, you can tell she’s not a first-time battler (her gestures, facial expressions, and moves all show it). I’ve been in love with her since the first episode aired, I even ended up watching her old battle videos haha 😂. I think ojo gang, especially Kyoka, is getting really popular in Korea right now. Their K-pop mission video used to be the second least viewed, and now it’s the second most viewed after Bumsup. Honestly, I’m not sure which crew deserved to be eliminated first, but between osaka and rf, I do think rf’s loss made more sense (though personally, I don’t think it should’ve been dragged to the fifth round 😣.) Also is it just me, or does anyone else hate the simultaneous battles? It’s really hard to watch and focus on the dancing. I feel like it’s even harder for the dancers to show their full potential, and honestly, it’s kind of dangerous too. They could get injured. I really hope Mnet drops this format already. It’s just not that interesting to watch.
