i think she is thinking here that if she catches the guy, or police catches the guy; sunjae will be saved. And she has to catch the guy alone so the guy doesn't know or recognize sunjae "witness" that may lead to his death. He is meant to die if the guy sees him. so even if they returned in seoul, the same fate will happen to both of them. at the end though, i think her decision to not cross paths with each other is basically to ensure the guy doesnt come into the picture as well. coz them crossing paths meant they'll get on the same fate that one will die.

Honestly I kept thinking just stay together, share all the concerns and facts, load up on weapons, bring their friends into it (because stronger together and this is just one dang guy and no super powers in play, so.....yah).

It was here that I got reminded again that this is a drama, most of the logical decisions never work out how we normally would 💀 the fluff blurred the plot holes for me, their chemistry was just too good to me hahaha

I think that Im Sol makes some reckless decisions because the flashbacks come all of a sudden and they are not very clear. Another thing is that Sol wants the killer to get caught. I think she thinks that if they just avoid the killer, he will go and find Sun Jae and kill him, so she wants to sacrifice herself in order to catch the killer. I also think that because she doesn't have much time in the past and she doesn't know when exactly she will go back to the future, the time problem makes her anxious and tries to get the killer get caught before she goes back.

I agree , I like time slip dramas and there were actually a lot of loopholes in this drama it just that me as a one of the hopeless romantics was too blinded with the heart fluttering and comedic moments. lol

This came just when I was looking for something to watch. Thank you Jeff! I agree with you, that Sol's decisions are very questionable. It feels like she is a child rather than an adult who returned in time for a purpose. There could have been so many ways to resolve this, given she knows the future but I guess it is a drama lol. Some things just don't make sense
