i love hao's voice so much, especially his lower register! he's got the range... seriously, it's just so resonant and gorgeous, he could do an OST and i'd eat it up

I always knew that Hao was a great singer since boys planet but since he was always taking the higher parts before I didnโt know that heโs actually better at lower notes! I was so shocked when I watched his pre debut singing videos, he mostly sings on his lower register and it was so good.

2023-07-20 12:20:52 +0000 UTCyujin's fast improvement still amazes me.kinda upset that people doesn't acknowledge zhanghao as main vocal even though he's literally top4 based on technique and support level(hui, hwanhee,taerae, hao) vocalist in the whole bp, just because didn't do those highlighted high notes.until he went viral for his vocals on amazing saturday koreans who didn't watched bp thought that he can't sing and here for his visuals lmao.his technique is very good, use his voice in very smart way, has perfect pitch and always supports every single note.from his predebut videos i acknowledged that he has the best lows in the whole bp and maybe one of the bests in the kpop(?).

2023-07-18 10:52:05 +0000 UTCThis actually went viral on many Korean platforms specially zhang hao & taerae's parts, we got highly engaged Korean posts on twitter as well & those engagements were mostly driven by none fans, in amazing saturday too hao's cover got a lot of attention from none fans & they all keep telling they didn't know that he was that great of a singer & really good with his korean pronunciation when sings.

2023-07-17 20:51:04 +0000 UTCHonestly I think part of it is also that after debuting they definitely spent time honing their skills with vocal instructors and practice so I think they had the potential during the show but they just weren't at the level they are at now. Also for most of the challenges in the show, they were dancing + singing and exhausted. I agree though that mnet definitely prioritized drama sometimes.
