For Episode 5, I'm still in the first few minutes but I'd like to comment now even if I'm not yet sure if you realized by the end of the episode. So the reason he's blaming himself for the deaths is because he has trauma from when he was a kid and his father blames the mom's death to him. It's like for him, everyone who gets into his life dies. The mom, dad, the uncle's family, and then the girlfriend. This is why he keeps on rejecting her from the start - he thinks she will die when she gets close to him. But as we can see, she managed to get him to lower his guard and get into his life. But then she actually died -- which makes him realized that maybe IT'S REALLY BECAUSE OF HIM. That what his father said is true and that he is the cause of these deaths. P.S. I hope you finish this drama because it's really good.

OMG I cried a lot too. The plot of this drama reminds me a lot of Hotel Del Luna: they way it's structured and how every episode deals with a different story. And I also cried almost every episode.

Yep, it's a series for crying. It's what makes it both wonderful and difficult as a series and an idea. It's amazing. I balled when I watched it the first time, and again when watching with you. It's absolutely so well done in these episodes. There's so much _respect_ in this episode, and it's so perfectly done. I've watched soooo much television and movies over the years, and honestly, this whole series just hits differently. Jeon Moo Song, the actor here, has had a storied career; I've seen him in other kdramas, particularly in The King: Eternal Monarch and Nokdu Flower. He was also in Snowdrop, but I haven't watched it yet. I think there must have been a sizeable budget for this series, because they did get such top-tier actors who could do a lot in a single-story role. It's nice, too, that they have an opportunity to show that side of their acting skills without having to sign on for half a year worth of production. I absolutely wouldn't be surprised if there had been castings made by companies watching these shows. I'm thrilled that you're enjoying this series as I did, and happy to get to watch with you! Good to have you back, too, and would love more about your impressions of Korea.
