Also it would be nice if you do both. But if there need be one option ultimately, then the youtube performances option I think would be better, so that you can see the entirety of the performance. There's way too many cuts to the other group's reaction if you watch it straight from viki and you might end up missing something from the performance.

So I think you can just proceed to watch the show on Viki as is and then maybe react to their dance practice videos if all the groups did the same (hopefully) if possible. ☺️

Looking at the poll, I think Viki would win👏🏻 but just to share with you also, iKON has just released dance practice video for this performance! and I think they did the camera work better than Mnet 😂 I hope all groups would do the same. This would be better for your dance performance analysis. ❤

Jeff, just want to let you know that iKON has just dropped the dance practice video for this performance. I don’t know about the others but I think it’s great if you react to performance+dance practice, and then the full episode later when it is fully subbed.

They just posted full cam versions of the performances, and you can see how the production flow during the performance. Will you react to them too and give commentary from a production point of view?

i suggest to watch the full cam on your own, so interesting to see how everything works, like dancers, props!

I think seeing the performance first (before the episode) so that you will judge solely based on that performance and then head over to viki for the full episode would be great so you get their backstory of why they picked that song and decided to perform it that way

Or you can do both? If a group will perform, watch the full version, so we can see the raw reaction to it. Then, you can go to Viki again and still watch their performance with the other groups' preactions too. That would be nice. Would be a little longer to record, but for me, it's good

I think it’d be nice if you didn’t do the performance reaction video. I think you should just straight up watch it on Viki so we can get your raw reaction

It’s a hard choice, because we only watch the full episode here with you, so we really don’t want you to skip anything, specially the other groups reactions during performances, but I understand that doesn’t give you a good “first reaction”. On the first episode we watched the full-non-cut performances after the show, and it worked for us.

I agree. I just finished watching ep 2 and the cuts were really interfering with the performances in my opinion. There is a big difference since the performances are now longer than 100 sec

I think watching the Viki version first will be better since that is the one the general public is going to have a first impression of then watch the full version and talk about how cuts may have or may not have affected the your performance ranking?

I'm greedy. I want both 😅 But whatever you end up doing I'm sure it will be fine. Personally I prefere watching the full versions first to "make my own thoughts and reactions" and then I watch with the others reactions. Guess that's why I would love both from you too.

I think seeing the groups reactions would be better, just because they sometimes point out details that we miss, like in the first episode they pointed out hongjoong spitting the blood- which was something a lot of us missed.

What I do is I watch the performances before watching the episode. That way I feel like I’m not biased by the mnets evil editing 🤩

maybe top10 + honorable mentions after the show... not only practice but also full versions anyway opening a new window in the middle of episode doesn't sound good to me

Maybe you could do the performances earlier, because they will already be uploaded on YT and you have to wait for subs on viki anyways? But idk if that would spoil the hype in the actual show for you. Ultimately I think you should do whatever will give you the best experience, I would prefer not to skip the reactions because they are cute but they aren't a major part of the show so it's ok if you end up doing that to see the performances better.

It's hard to choose. 😭 I'm thinking how about a separate video instead for all the full performances (6 stages) just like what you did with their introduction stage ep. 0. But I understand it would be hard for you. Anyways, I like both so whatever wins on this poll would still be great. I'll just wait for the results. ❤

I request this way like first you watch full episode then you can watch full performances on YouTube or Patreon i think for you it will be easier than switching back and forth

I’d say switch to YT to watch the performance in full, but don’t toggle past the other groups reactions to it when going back to viki because that’s honestly one of the main things of kingdom aka the interaction between the groups. 😉
