[Reality] Produce 101 S2, Ep 4 Reaction

When I watched this before, I automatically pin point Daniel as my 1 Pick just because he was never greedy of the Center Position. He was more into wholistic approach. He always think what would be better for his team every challenge. I was so proud when he slowly got recognition from the fans every evaluations.

You know how MNET is, they like to evil edit to create DRAMA. I do think they exaggerated Hyunbin's situation in Sorry Sorry Team 2, it likely wasn't as serious as they made it out to be. And if he had messed up in the actual performance, you KNOW Mnet would've ate that sh1t up. They would've slow motioned a fumble, zoomed in on people's shocked faces, replay it 5x, and play "My heart will go on" while Hyunbin or Jonghyun looks defeated (yes MNet actually did that before xD). I do feel bad for Hyunbin though, he got SO much hate after this episode aired. But thankfully he did survive in the show long enough to redeem himself. He's actually a pretty smart guy. He speaks 3 languages and was an athlete prior to becoming a model. When you have a chance, you should check out JBJ, a group formed from some of the remaining trainees on this show

Jonghyun's team and Dongho's team covers was iconic. They really performed as one perfect group and the song fits them well.

JEFF I JUST NOTICED SOMETHING!! Many times when the translation says " Please vote for ME" or "Because I practiced a lot" and these kinds of phrases, that isn't exactly what they are saying. In the korean language, very often the subject is omitted in the sentence so people just say "because of a lot of practice" and "Please give many votes" and it's just the way that they translate it that makes it seem like they are only addressing themselves and not the whole team when, in reality, they aren't really specifying who it refers to and they're probably talking about the whole team.

I'm happy that you like our Dongho voice, he is so precious and talented idk if you remember it or not but Nu'est song has been used in this round for producex season too and he is a producer of his group. one thing I want to tell you is that him and Haknyeon are trainees who got a lot of evil edited in this season and because of those they still got some hate up till now (it one of the reasons why Dongho need to close his personal Instagram) I knew that you know Haknyeon quite well already from The boyz but I also want to state this so both you and others who read this comment will not misunderstand him he was always so lovely and willing to help others trainees all the time. I hope you also check out their music as all of Nu'est member are all so talented and their vocal are amazing I recommend you 'A song for you' performance on Yu Huiyeols Sketchbook.

The one that you said looks like seventeen Joshua is Hong Eunki from (at the time) GON ent., he's a great dancer and a great vocalist too. Now he's promoting as a soloist with an independent team and the latest release from him was "ON&ON" that released 2 months ago. Maybe you want to check them out. Oh, and he's promoting as an actor too. His most recent work is the korean remake of "Step-Up" with a title "Turn : The Street" along with CIX seunghun. I think it will be released in the end of this month as a digital movie.

Also super Junior have a couple of phenomenal dancers. Eunhyuk and Shindong are 2 amazing dancers. You have only really watched Super Juniors new things. Now their choreo is less hard because they are in there 30’s and 40’s when they were younger they had much more difficult choreo 😂

I find it really funny when these idols cover a SHINee song act cute all the time and say that its a cute song. Honestly none of SHINee songs are cute its just because SHINee were so young at that time people found them cute all the time. But the songs are not cute at all especially Replay. Kang Daniel was not popular on the first half of this season however the second half was another story. There is definitely more of strong performances latter on just a bit sad that you are stopping at episode 6 when things get started to get good but totally understandable as Kingdom is starting very soon.

Tutting was not that new in K-pop scene but Super Junior somehow made it a trend in Korea. It's like when someone did tutting in K-pop you'll be reminded of Super Junior immediately. Also adding the fact that SORRY SORRY was considered as a legendary song in K-pop so everything about it was just so memorable and special. ❤ And just to share, this song was also one of the biggest hit of Super Junior in their entire career. It actually helped a lot to spread Hallyu Wave all around the world and it had opened so many doors for K-pop groups and artists internationally. That's how huge the impact it had at that time! ❤☺️

Same goes for honorifics like 형 (hyung), 언니 (unni), and 오빠 (oppa). 조 (jo) is team/group/unit. So yep, when she said 이조 it was 이 for two and 조 for team.

So excited to begin watching this episode! To answer your question about biases, I had a couple that stood out to me from the pre-episode 1 special clips, like the 1 minute self-introduction videos and meringue time videos (anyone else remember iconic ones like Spider Guy, the Harry Potters, everything quirky and fun about those?) But over the show I came to like almost everyone in various ways. Editing with comments once again as I watch: Yes, Big Bang are all back, Daesung and Taeyang were the last to be released a few months ago and TOP and GD have been out for a while too. They've been laying low for now, doing some activities of their own (like Daesung's YouTube) but we might see that long-teased comeback this year soon. Just realised you've seen Mansae twice now haha, both in Verivery's Road to Kingdom performance and now this! The SVT original is one of my favourite tracks by them, definitely see the dance practice for it because it's so exciting and amazing. And yes, the high note is a Seungkwan classic!

JUSTICE LEAGUE for the win!! SORRY SORRY Team 2 is definitely one the best team created here and the most balanced as well. MINHYUN really did great in choosing his members and did not rely only on the popularity aspect. This battle really helped to elevate all the members in the show, best example would be KANG DANIEL. Look at where he is now. and it all started here! ☺️ This is also where the NATION'S LEADER JONGHYUN was born and it made me so happy because he really deserved it! ONG SEONGWOO best center! The talent, the charisma, and his personality tho! I really did great in choosing my bias since day 1. 💚 KIM JAEHWAN main vocalist well deserved!! I'm really glad that he's in this group because this is where people started to recognize him ❤ with KWON HYUNBIN, love the character development! He's not originally trained as an Idol to begin with, but with this battle I think he started to be serious about it and Jonghyun really helped him a lot. ☺️ They didn't get to have the "Avengers Team" title but the fans made them to be called as "Justice League Team" and I think it's really special and they deserved it!! ☺️❤👏🏻

I think most would agree that BOY IN LUV Team 2 should have won that battle. Well, just by looking at the members, we all know that Avengers Team would definitely win this but like what Baekho/Dongho said "When we lose, people should ask why we lose" and they really did it! ❤ Avengers did great as well, it's just that Team 2 really suited this better.

LAI GUANLIN is currently active as an actor in China. Him and YOO SEONHO (the other guy that you like) were both under Cube ent. and they're really close. ❤ SEONHO was in the show HANDSOME TIGERS with Cha Eunwoo and Joy of Red Velvet and other celebrities as well. It's a very nice and fun show. ☺️ Do you know the Thai movie hit "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" ? Guanlin was the male lead for the Chinese drama remake of that movie. ☺️❤ Also, Guanlin was in legal dispute with Cube. He wanted to terminate his contract. I'm not sure if he's still in the company tho.

I see you mention oneus whenever hwanwoong appears but just wanted to say that two other oneus members are here too! Keonhee who was the main vocalist for the first Replay team and Seoho whose name was still Gunmin at the time who did the backflip and high note for Boy in luv team 2. I didn’t notice that Seoho was on produce though until way after though.

omg wait, of course noona can be used for a (potential) partner, that's what a song is about lol it's basically the same as oppa but to an older female partner (also "jin/chin oppa" or "jin/chin noona" - real brother or sister - is used for clarification sometimes )

idk what guanlin is doing rn but ik after produce he did a duo album with wooseok of pentagon (in 2019 it was so good) since they are from the same company. and yes dongho/baekho has such a smooth voice. he the main vocalist, a vocal director, and produces a lot of newer songs now for nu'est for a reason.

I usually already have a bias even before the show started thru their PR videos and they would stay my bias until the end of the show. Like Seonho and Donghan but I already knew Donghan way before Produce 101 because he was in a cover group and I knew him from there. Hahaha. I also did supported NU'EST and Samuel cause Pledis family, well Samuel did came from Pledis also. Hahaha.
