But also it takes inspiration from Metroid / Mario Underworld music.
The idea in this song is he arrives at his home planet 2 years later after the Alien Invasion, he's the only person alone to ever see something like this happen. Most people get immediately wiped out, Transcends are anomalies of his galaxy.
The drop is realizing his mom and dad died by the Aliens. He sees the memorial his sister, Momenta built. He just received a message from her upon landing. She could still be out there!
Kin loses his legs too, the first time he jumps down. They get absorbed. Luckily with Momenta's schematics, he uses their absorption powers against him with his Breakneck Backpack.
