Greetings everyone!
For a long time I wanted to compose ambiences for the Cthulhu mythos specifically. Sadly, I don't know it much (because I'm a perpetual DM and one of my players is afraid of his own shadow, so creepy stuff is not possible at the table).
However, this month, we decided to work on some Cthulhu inspired audio with Filip.
The few times I played Call of Cthulhu as a player, I felt like the feelings were more important than the facts, when we were around eldritch creatures or event. In that regard, I decided to break my own rule of being as descriptive as possible with ambiences, and rather be on the side of feelings. If you check the ambiences names, you'll understand immediately.
I still made a few ambiences that fit for a specific place. I had in mind the old city of R'lyeh (a mythological sunken city where Cthulhu is supposed to wait and dream).
The ambience "Losing grasp" is the reason why I love my job so much. It was challenging to compose, but very interesting.
Filip will be a bit late with his part of the adventure theme. About 1-2 days.
As for the SFX, I followed some requets. Don't forget to fill that file to suggest some ideas:
