Hello everyone!
It's time to hunt Mammoth! This month, we worked on a Stone Age Camp adventure theme. I had this idea in mind for quite some time, but I wasn't sure I had the required sounds for it.
These ambiences also work for nomad camps. I just made sure to avoid any sound that would suggest the presence of metal items. There are "normal" (fantasy) voices, but they don't speak like simple-minded cavemen, as there's no reason for it. I added baby voices, and many craftmanship sounds (stoneworking, woodcutting, animal skinning and butchering).
Each biome comes with a variation regarding domesticated animals. I allowed myself to add some fantasy elements to them : you'll hear domesticated sabertooth in the Savannah camp, and DINOSAURS in the jungle variation. Yes I know, it's not realistic, but it's cool and it gives you opportunities for cool storytelling! Also it's variations, so no pressure to include these in your stories.
