Monk Village (8 Ambiences, 33 SFX)

Greetings shinobis, samurais and shoguns,

Here's the monthly adventure theme. To make things simpler, I merged all the SFX + the monthly adventure theme, hence the sci-fi and modern SFX in the folder. In the grand scheme of things, it doesn't change anything as it all ends up nicely in the same folder. 

This month, we worked on an asian theme, which is a first for us. For adventure themes, you know that I always try to come up with a scenario in mind, and I add some variations if I think of anything useful. This time, I thought of the following :

The adventurers arrive in a village. There's no human. However, there are many animals. They realize something isn't going well. They visit the nearby monastery, in which they see monks doing a mystical ceremony. They do something. The animals are finally turned into humans again.

No fluff, it was just to help me create, but it could lead a 1-3 sessions scenario.

For the ambiences title, we went for the "Asianfantasy" name. We use "afrofantasy" for Africa-inspired ambiences, and we do the same for Asia. Using names such as "Japan" and such is too specific and too real to be usable.

The sounds for the monastery are actual buddhist ceremonial sounds, mixed together and rearranged. I'd love to do the same with other religions. I need to find mass recordings in Latin :)
