December Bonus SFX (68 SFX)
Added 2022-12-27 15:54:01 +0000 UTCYes! 68, and it doesn't count in the 30 SFX we usually provide for the Guardian+ patrons. These ones will come before the 31st.
These SFX have all been made by me (Michael).
Why ? Several reasons :
- Now that the Sonic Library is released, I have more time to compose again.
- Since the Sonic Library will soon get nice updates regarding SFX, quickplay and search features, these new SFX will be much welcome
- We are working on the integration with FoundryVTT
- We are working on ways to allow players to use SFXs as well.
- I found an agreement with what I consider the best audio library provider. I can use their sounds to create SFX (I used to only be allowed to create ambiences with them, which was already making me an exception as they usually strictly forbid this kind of uses). In short, I have access to very high quality sounds for SFX. Each of the following composition I made is built with 4 to 10 of their sounds, reworked (with additional plugins and effects).
What are these SFX ?
Weapons draws and "whooshes" (missed attacked) for six types of damages. I'll do the rest next month (Psychic, Force, etc). They will be shared with Guardian+ (10$) patrons only.
The hits (attacks that land) are also planned.
There are also a few additional ones that I made before focusing on attacks.

aaawwwwwwSOME! Nice job on these SFX. I listened closely to them all and I appreciate that they're SHORT...better for using in Foundry with various automations involving SFX (I use JB2A paired with Automated Animations and apply a SFX if I have one). I think the magical effects paired with the normal weapon sounds were very appropriate and you did a great job blending those into believable-sounding SFX. There was one SFX that seemed like it could use a little retuning when you have time: Bow Shot (No Hit) 1: doesn't seem to be any sfx of it traveling through the air (with the sound trailing off) after the draw of the bowstring. Anyway, great job, and I'm very much looking forward to more like this! :D
