I think the whole thing with the wacking girls twerking can be biased, I mean if I guy pulled up his shirt or did hip thrusts no one would say that shouldn't be on camera lol. but I totally get it, because no matter what, viewers with sexualize it more sadly.

2020-09-10 21:55:11 +0000 UTCI'm like so late but Jisung I'm pretty sure got offered to come because he's known for dancing and yeah he's already a celebrity but rather than the competition he came for the experience and to be around kids his age that love dancing the way he does. He even said because he trained at such a young age, he didn't get to hang out with kids like him or have like school friends so this was really good for him I think

2020-09-08 06:53:48 +0000 UTCit's weird to me that people are so surprised by dancing barefoot because I do traditional Indian dance where dancing with shoes on is seen as disrespectful? and that translates even to Bollywood dance I do for fun so I've only ever danced barefoot… lipsynching is also very very common in Bollywood and other Indian dance, so it's never bothered me, but it's definitely a preference thing? also I was here for Jisung but I love watching dance competition shows like this so I’m excited to watch this with you!

I started watching it for him, but all those kids are amazing and so, so talented. It's a joy to watch them be so passionate and joyful about dance. I'm glad you decided to watch it! Another show worth your attention, even if just for you in private, is definitely "Why Not: The Dancer". It features Eunhyuk (Super Junior), Lee Gikwang (Highlight, and one of the DH coaches!) Taemin (Shinee) and Jisung, as well as a few choreographers like Lia Kim. It's a fun show and goes along well with "Dancing High", since it has so many familiar faces x)

2020-09-07 20:05:40 +0000 UTCPark Si Hyuns story (the 13 year old free styler) mirrors Jisungs a bit and explains why he wanted to be on this show for kids his age, even though he already has "the fame". He started out as an child actor, but found his passion in dancing at age 8. Even this young he was pretty serious about it and worked his ass off. After his finale performance on this show, it's releaved that he was a dance student of one of the guest judges (Nam Hyun-Joon aka Poppin' John, a famous korean dancer) before he was a trainee. And he became a trainee with 10/11, so yeah .. he was pretty good for his age, but probably always around older people. Even as a trainee he was the youngest and never had same age kids around him. In school he was an outsider, because nobody shared his passion for dance and could relate to him at all. That's why he wanted to go on this show, to find other kids his age, that have the same passion and drive, and with whom he could potentially be friends.

2020-09-07 19:52:39 +0000 UTCJisung couldn't go all out and show his full-potential on here as he's promoting with NCT Dream while recording Dancing High both at the same time and God knows what's gonna happen if he got injured or anything. He's young and works so hard all the time and there was an issue that happened among the kids that was totally blown out of proportion lmao but in the end he made lots of really good friends who he shares the same interests with, aside from the Dreamies~

For this show it may be easier to think in terms of school years. The 19 year olds are seniors in high-school (17-18 internationally). The youngest, 13 year olds, are in 6th grade (11-12 internationally). The 13 yr old free-styler - I don't know what offers she got about being an idol, but she did make an appearnce in Boa's Woman MV.

2020-09-07 02:31:41 +0000 UTC"Hit The Stage" was in 2016 and "Dancing High" in 2018, so these shows are quite apart from each other 😉 In those 2 years a lot happened for Hoya - he left INFINITE and became solo artist. And yes, Just Jerk were in "Hit The Stage" and did special performance! You were pretty amazed by them, I thought you would remember their group, but that's okay haha

When Junseo came in front of the camera around 15:39, my mind suddenly remember that he was here 😂 Someone told it already but keep an eye on him, he is so freaking good, it's insane. He debuted in DKB, I know that people recommended them to you in the comment section on YouTube already . DKB do their own Choreography, take part of producing their songs and honestly they are amazing (SORRY MAMA still my fav for now) By the way, remember Hyunseung in HIT THE STAGE? He was from BEAST right? He left the group, also BEAST left CUBE and became HIGHLIGHT so basically the mentor Gikwang is Hyungseung's ex teammate Because I watched THE UNIT before this, I was expecting a lot from JuHyun. She is still so good but I still prefer what she did on THE UNIT

It almost like asking "how old would you be this year?". For example, if you're born in December 2000, your age would be 19 right now (because it's still September). But then, considering you're one year old when you were born and since in Korea they add age in new year, then you'd be considered 21.

So if u r 20 in Korea u would be 19 internationally and then once new year hits u gain age instead of aging on ur birthday.
