Here it is! The Finale!
I am SO SORRY this wasn't uploaded yesterday. I filmed it Saturday afternoon and I've been trying to export it for a day and a half now because my program keeps crashing. It would reach 91% and then crash. I've tried several versions but ultimately had to slice the original edit in 4 parts then piece them all together and the export and convert again. I am heading out to buy a new laptop that could handle these large exports because of the amount of content I want to produce so rest assured, I hope this doesn't happen again. There's also a slight frame stuttering (footage of me) during Yugyeom's part. I think it's cause I've been trying to film as HQ as possible and longer files like these are not meant for that. Even in big budget films, you don't do an 18-minute take. So I will be experimenting with settings to prevent the stuttering from occurring again.

But seriously I'm glad Yugyeom is growing on u, he's one of my fave dancers in Kpop and honestly I feel like he deserves more recognition for his talents especially since JYP doesn't seem to use them that often.....

Poison - GOT7 is worth checking out just because you get to see that door concept again as well as Yugyeom wrote the song. It is also choreographed by him and Jinyoung. Also fun fact, not only did Yugyeom's nickname become hit the stage the entire 2016 by got7(they were so proud its adorable), they also placed that stomping section in their remix performance of Hard Carry in their comeback showcase in 2018. I definitely could've appreciated that performance more had I known her previously haha. im sure she's an amazing dancer. just at this particular choreo, I don't think she shined as much as they intended to. BUT the spotlight is on chungha so that's ok!

It was great to see some of the iconic moves again from his previous performances but I think yeah it was more of a tribute than a contest piece. But nonetheless I think he did amazing as usual! And Hyoyeon, I guess yeah she did change up the style. But what I actually didn't realize before was that she gave a lot of the spotlight to the dancers as well which was amazing!

2020-09-01 02:35:46 +0000 UTCU-Kwon is my top bias among this episodes idols, even from back before the show, (was only more fan of Taemin and Hoya back then) but I still agree with your opinion of his performance/s. Just because your a fan your don't have to think that everything your bias does is the best ever.. I love so much else with him <3 Ten was my personal favorite of the show overal. (Although my nr 1. favorite performance was Hoya's this love) But there was so many great stages that I enjoyed and have been replaying now and then since it aired. Yugyeom did had my favorite performance of this last ep. Have really enjoyed watching the show "with" you 🙂

2020-09-01 02:04:54 +0000 UTChi its a common mistake for people who don't really follow the style but what hyoyeon did was all locking! a lot of people think of locking to be just a part of "popping and locking" but locking in itself is a whole completely different style.

Anyone who had more than one episode on HTS could have referenced their past performances. In my opnion, Tens references can't be compared to Pentagons RTK stage. I bawled my eyes out during that performance, while with Tens I was just smiling. I really liked the way he went about alluding to past stages. The breakedance move where the dancer lands on his back is aptly called 'Suicide'. The spnniy thing is called a 'Thomas Flare'. I can recommend watching Street Dance of China, there are a lot of BBoys on that show. Also, because you mentioned how hard Freestyle is: in SDoC, there are things called Freestyle Battles, which usually is a best out of three. I think you would enjoy this! Yugyeom did great in his performance and I really enjoyed it. I felt the energy through the screen. I don't really get what you meant about Hyoyeons perfomance though. Why do you say it wasn't enough Locking? She was sticking to that style the entire performance. Anyways, I'll look forward to Dancing High next week!

When you can feel how much people love what they do it makes it so much more enjoyable to watch them. :) Also, if you liked the choreo with the door you should check out GOT7's "Poison" dance practice and live stages. Yugyeom wrote the song and helped with the choreography. (Spoiler: they dance with suits! )

2020-08-31 19:55:13 +0000 UTCI think if you had watched the first season of Produce 101 the impact would've been much greater. Yoojung was a member of I.O.I. and is now part of Weki-Meki. She is a KILLER dancer and recognized for her powerful movements, especially covering boy group choreographies. I highly recommend looking up some performances/covers!

2020-08-31 19:39:43 +0000 UTCJust started watching but I agree with your comment about the translations of "I have more greed" - lol I saw it everywhere, especially during Produce 101 aka Centre 101 ("I have more greed to be the centre in this round!") I'm sure it just means they have more desire but the translation does sound harsh at first glance haha Also edit: Some of the IOI members dancing to Bang Bang is basically some of the members from the most popular dance evaluation stage on Produce 101 (across all four editions of the show) - their performance went viral and a lot of members from that group ended up making it into the final IOI lineup. The full performance is on YouTube, I recommend watching if you want!

2020-08-31 19:37:57 +0000 UTCeven taking aside the emotional factor for ten's stage, i enjoyed the performance. it obviously wasn't his best so i see your point but i still enjoyed watching it and ten always brings it with his dancing and his general stage presence. im going to need ten do waacking again.
