Fame is an incarnate of Greed (and I can't believe I never posted a pic of him before), just like Devoid is an incarnate of Sloth. Fame is a Traditional Greed with an obsession for gold, precious stones, and jewelry.
Fame is also an incredibly impressionable sprite who also likes the taste of his gold and gems. As such, Pagan (gluttony) is able to convince Fame to glut himself on money until he's plump and round.
Also, Fame can float. It's an ability that most sins don't have and it's unknown as to why certain ones can. Fame is one of two characters in the story with this ability, the other being the Lead Sin for Lust.
And as mentioned here, the sins are partnered up. And well, Devoid's partner is Fame, so he doesn't like it when Pagan infects him with gluttony. Because Devoid is supposed to be granting a wish for Fame and spreading sloth to him, which is difficult because Devoid has zero energy and Pagan absolutely delights in spreading his gluttony to as many people as possible.
