Happy Holiday Housekeeping!

Hello, all you wonderful people!  I just wanted to take care of a few things Neil Talks-related.

First and foremost, Merry Christmas, Happy New Years and a huge thank you to each and every one of you who helped make 2022 an amazing year for me and the channel.  Running this channel full-time has been hard work and certainly stressful at times, but it has also been so incredibly rewarding.  And so much of that is because of the community here.  I will likely never be able to thank most of you in person, but please know how much you are appreciated and loved.

Second, I'm about to go on Christmas vacation for a short week, so I may not be responding to issues here quite so rapidly.  Also, I'll be slowing down my release schedule between now and New Years - most of my shows will only get one reaction over the next two weeks.  I've tried to stagger things so there won't be much dead time, but please don't freak out when The Expanse doesn't come out at it's regularly scheduled time.

Third, I'll be doing a little site maintenance over the next few weeks.  My first priority will be deleting a lot of my old Early Access posts, primarily because I need to free up some space on my account over at Vimeo.  I can't foresee why this would be an issue for any of you, but I wanted to mention it all the same.

Fourth, I'll be coming up with some new best practices in the coming weeks, so don't be surprised to see some of my new videos being hosted in new places in 2023.  Maybe they'll be native to Patreon, maybe they'll be on YouTube, maybe somewhere else entirely.  We'll see what happens.  I'd also love to hear from all of you - what can I do better?

Fifth, I'm taking a proper three-week vacation to South America in January-February, where I won't be doing any reacting or editing.  My goal is to have enough of a pipeline built up with my reactions that none of you will even notice my absence.  BUT, I'll admit that's an ambitious goal, and I may not 100% achieve it.  So we may be behind by a handful of early access videos in the first half of February.  I'll post a more helpful update just before I take off.  My borderline OCD compelled me to share this pointless information.

Finally (and again), have a most excellent holiday season.  May it be full of happy memories with your family, friends and loved ones.  Thank you for all of your support, participation and camaraderie - it made my 2022 a wonderfully memorable one.  That being said, 2023 is going to be even better, and I, for one, can't wait!
