This is another wonderful episode, and I love how the show approaches this theme of "working together" and giving/accepting help. I agree Katara was right and Toph was being selfish, but the whole "too bad you can't see [the stars], Toph" was mean (but funny). Iroh is 100% my favorite character, and his scene with Toph is so touching. I like that Toph's selfishness doesn't come from being spoiled; she feels that being part of a team makes her seem vulnerable, but that just ends up hurting others. It's an interesting parallel with Zuko. It's subtle, but Iroh got distracted at the end because he recognized Toph, which is why Azula was able to attack him. And then of course Zuko rejects Katara's help, which just puts Iroh's life at risk. In my opinion the 2nd half of this series is way better than the 1st, but we needed that 1st half to develop this world and get to know the characters. Otherwise the rest of the show wouldn't be as impactful. Also, Azula is an evil little sociopath and the absolute worst. I don't see any redeeming qualities so far; she's like her dad. That honestly doesn't bother me, though. I find her strong personality and talents interesting and entertaining even if she is a cold, evil *****.
