Jared Harris, who plays David Robert Jones, is Richard Harris' son... the name that they used for the German prison, Wissenschaft, translates to Science prison (though it's not correct German usage)... and my head canon for Peter completing 'Little Hill' is that, while he only saw vertical lines from Smith's brain, perhaps Peter also absorbed the echo of the answer in a more subliminal way. (But, yeah, holes can be poked.)

2022-11-23 06:57:35 +0000 UTCIt's been a long time since the X-Fs... and you're right that Chris Carter kept the romantic tension mostly out of the forefront for a long time. But Mulder and Scully did sleep together in S7 ( but you only see the morning after)... and of course, DD left for awhile... and they **wait have you seen the original series finale?** in the show's original end. Then there are the movies and revival seasons. But, I agree it wasn't the main focus. Either way with Fringe... I think you'll enjoy however it goes.

2022-11-23 03:53:25 +0000 UTCAnother episode co-written by JJ. Good one... and much of it comes together better with that turn at the end. Always enjoy all of Peter & Walter's interactions. You could see the angry tic in Peter's jaw when Walter was talking about running tests on him in childhood. Then calling him 'daddy' when given relaxing drugs. Love their dynamic... the seesawing awareness of their rocky relationship. And ha... poor Astrid... in this episode alone, Walter called her Astro and Asteroid. Ah, Walter!
