But first, I finished the backgrounds from last week and did some characters. I really like how the final sandbox background turned out. June is greeted by the "students" of the Squirrel Class as she is introduced by Ms. Cosset. For now, only interactions with Lola will be available, since we're focusing on writing one character at a time. (Screenshot 1) Once June chooses her partner, Ms. Cosset introduces the morning activity: crafting puppets for a cardboard puppet theater! (Screenshot 2) I also did a sketch of what the minigame background will look like. The mechanics will be similar to a puzzle game, with decorative elements that can be dragged and dropped onto the puppet. Each drag-and-drop action will be a one-off, so even though it’s fairly simple, there will still be a way to fail the minigame. (Screenshot 3) And finally, no matter the outcome of the game, Lola will have some kind of accident. But can you really call it an accident when it’s just the way things are?
