I mostly focused on graphic assets today. I still had one of the old sketches to finish: the sidewalk background that appears when June stops to take her lunch. I also did a quick color edit for Sato's yard and the admin building. It’s just a little touch-up to transition the scenes to the evening. Regarding in-game progress, I integrated the last bit of clickable items so far. There are still a few placeholders, but I hope to have that fixed by the next demo! (Screenshot 1) The day was mainly spent working on two other backgrounds that will appear later, when June goes back to the administration building to deliver something to Dr. Lang. The first one is just a regular background of a computer room, with outdated and bulky monitors. The second one will act as a sort of POV shot when you navigate one of the computers. I did some mock-ups for what the screen will look like. There will be quite a few files to check, and I'd like to implement a password system where you have to type it to enter specific folders. It's going to be a bit more work, but I’m sure it will be worth it! And that’s all for today! Next week, I think I'll focus more on in-game integration, particularly new interactions with characters if June is wearing a diaper.
