I started by sketching a background for Ms. Melrose's bathroom, which will be used for the potty scene. I tried to give it more of a bougie/vintage vibe since it fits Ms. Melrose's theme. (Screenshot 0) I also created two placeholder sketches: the first one is for the Topaz scene I worked on last week. (Screenshot 1) And the second one is for a similar scene with Nana; this one isn't finished yet. (Screenshot 2) It's a bit of a headache to reorganize all the code to fit these new interactions, but step by step, it's coming together! If June asks Ms. Melrose, she will have to deal with the uncompromising nature of the nanny and admit that she's just a baby. But on the bright side, Ms. Melrose will allow her to use the bathroom! (Screenshot 3) Finally, I commissioned another lovely sketch from Vaabs. You might recognize the cartoon monkey character from one of the TV shows! I plan to use it for the puzzle on day 1, which still needs finishing. And that's it for today! Next week, I'll probably integrate the last potty scenes that need to be done.
