Wilden Lightfoot sketch - version 2
Added 2025-06-30 21:59:56 +0000 UTCFinally managed to "get it". I disliked the previous sketch a lot - it looked like cartoon character head slapped over a normal man's body... something seemed off.
Then i actually started to think about this work with my "daddy obsessed guy brain". And what's the best way to draw Wilden who is a dad in that cartoon?
add calm and fathery feel
make it more casual
add some realistic stuff (wrinkles/etc) but try to keep other stuff simple
add "home feel" (sneakers, shorts that he would wear at home during summer)
The art of drawing daddies is a serious stuff! 🤓☝️
