it's pretty safe to say that the majority of the overall movement is done, so that's all good. still need to get the ending loop transition done, of course, but that doesn't take much time. facial animation is the next thing im gonna focus on since obviously that's still in dire need of being done. there is a little bit of it that I've already worked on (i.e., some blocking for the mouth movement in the first 100 frames or so and blinking (though i still need to do the actual eye expressions & tracking/movement so the blinking is kinda just a placeholder for now)) - but the majority still needs to be worked on.
physics are also technically set up, though they do need some tweaking and adjustment. as for what im gonna be doing with the thigh physics, i'm not too sure as applying that to a model with any sort of leg accessories/clothing/armor tends to cause a LOT of clipping. to combat that, i might try working my weight painting magic and see if i can mitigate the clipping (i.e., throwing shit at the wall and hoping it sticks) - though if it seems like it'll be way too much work (or i just suck at it), then i may forgo thigh physics for this one. i will say that the tail definitely needs some adjustment (since as is it's moving around WAY too much), but that's just tweaking some numbers and such, so i can get that done no problem.
either way, that's about all I've got for the moment - in general, progress is going well! i should have another wip (or the full thing depending on how much i can get done) ready within the next 2-ish days, so i'll be seeing you then :]
