Hardware Update (it's good news, don't worry)

hey, apologies i don't have anything in the way of W.I.Ps ready for you guys - but i do have some very good news! with help from some of my more tech-savvy buddies, i've finally decided to upgrade my computer (as in getting a brand new PC altogether, since my old one was just WAY too outdated to justify replacing the parts for).

i won't ramble about the specifics, but in short, i'm basically cooking with rocket fuel now. for context, a scene that would normally take 2 minutes to render a single frame for now takes like 10 seconds - it's that significant of an upgrade. i'm still in the process of getting everything set up and moved over to the new PC, but i'm basically all set to get back to work now! so you can expect to see higher quality uploads from here on out (and for some projects that i didn't render in 4k, i may go back and re-render those to give you guys a higher quality version at some point)

to get some practice in and get familiar with this new setup, i'm gonna work on something to post on here later today if possible, so keep an eye out for that! (most likely a render that may become the base for my next animation if you guys like it).

let me emphasize that none of this would be possible if it weren't for all of your support, so thank you guys so much for all of your generosity - i'll be sure that not a single cent of it goes to waste. see you all in a little bit! :] take care and thank you again
