Unleashed VR 2.0 - whats left to do?
Added 2024-08-06 08:11:52 +0000 UTCUnleashed 2.0 and various new Scenes arent far away. Im working on this huge project solo so i cant give you an exact release date, but im pretty sure I'll get it done this Summer.
To give you dear supporters some more transparency while hitting you with different 1.9.9-X versions, I'll give you a quick list of whats left to do:
Finishing the TrailerPark (60/100 positions, 0/40 voicelines completed)
Sound and Kissing overhaul
Thruster and Pose overhaul
Package and loading time improvements
I've already started working on various other Scenes like Unleashed: Desktop and Unleashed: Female. Once 2.0 is complete, im about to finally hit you with lots of new and fresh Scenes instead of just updating Unleashed. I love this Scene to death though, thats why i spent over a year to improve that originally raw idea of a first-person VaM. Without all of you, i couldnt have spent the time to work this much on the scene i love. Its such an honor to see that so many other people share my passion for Unleashed. Thank you for your overwhelming and steady support over the past year. <3

Ah ok, I hope that's the case considering I've tried to enjoy VAM 1 but it's difficult with how bad the quality and visuals are despite getting less fps from higher settings most of the settings are too intense from my PC and even more intense with virtual desktop etc. the most annoying part was the modding and unpacking assets that has to be loaded before accessing a lvl. Hope we get lots of features that is related to better modding with more clarity on what collides with what also warnings if something is breaking the vanilla game. What we mainly need is better visuals, quality, modding and more overall compatibility where it's easier to port models by making it compatible with multiple files like unitypackage unless Vam2 will still be on unreal engine.

2024-08-23 02:16:41 +0000 UTCFrom what i understand of VaM2 (which is not alot! :D) its going to run smoother than VaM1 due to a more modern engine. The values i saw were from a 4090/7900x3d in the first tech alpha (thats super old and probably super unoptimized) yet it still capped at 120 fps (VR) in a really good looking environment with 2 light sources and 1 person atom.

I saw some really jawdropping VR quality and performance going on in the alpha2 and afterall - there wouldnt be an Unleashed if there was no VaM :)
